Hello, Welcome back to my Free Inquiry page – a place of discovery, wonder, and simply figuring out the possibilities of digital art.
Since my last entry, I have allowed myself to be pulled into a world= Tolkien’s world. So much of my inspiration during this project thus far has been interconnected with fantasy and the world of Throne of Glass – as this was my most recent series that I finished. However, over the past few weeks so much has happened: I have met a new best friend that is equally immersed and obsessed with fantasy as me, and with this I have finally allowed myself to roam freely in my own imagination. In our current society, I find it really hard to fully be myself as we have so many expectations and unspoken rules, not to mention that our whole community is centred around technology- and that was making me feel really lost. I was wrong- yes, technology can feel isolating, but it can also be a portal into other worlds= worlds I want to be in.
With this new understanding of myself and how I want to use technology To my advantage, I have discovered a new goal I want to include in this inquiry: To find new spaces and portals within the internet that allow me to escape into the worlds I dream of.
I am sure AI will be a great tool to explore this, as well as Pinterest and other resources I am comfortable with, but my goal is to find new places !
